The 11th International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering (ICETE-2021 A multi conference platform) will be held on 19th & 20th November 2021 at NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, Karnataka. The idea of multi conference platform has been mooted in order to focus on the specific issues associated with various Engineering fields.
NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte has been organizing International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering (ICETE) annually since 2015. ICETE aimed to provide a proper platform for Research scholars, Post Graduate students of Engineering & Technology and Industry professionals to deliberate, explore and contribute their research findings and to discuss the latest developments in the field of Engineering & Technology. Invited technical talks by eminent personalities from IIT and Foreign Universities on current topics of relevance, in different streams of engineering were also organized to help the participants in up-gradation of their knowledge about the recent advances in Engineering & Technology.
This year, ICETE-2021 - A Multi Conference Platform will be held as a collection of several International Conferences with themes specific to different engineering streams organized under a single umbrella. N.M.A.M. Institute of Technology, Nitte, an autonomous Institution under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi was established in the year 1986 in memory of the Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya, a distinguished engineer of the erstwhile Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka. It is one of the constituent Institutions under Nitte Education Trust, Mangalore, which runs 40 Institutions in various areas of education right from primary school to post-graduation centers, including professional courses like Engineering, Polytechnic, Architecture, Management, Medical, Nursing, Dental, Paramedical, Science & Commerce and Schools. Nitte University, a NAAC accredited A-grade University is run by the Nitte Education Trust founded by late Justice K.S. Hegde, a well-known judge of Supreme Court of India and former speaker of Indian Lok Sabha.
The Institute is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and most of the programs are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under the Outcome Based Education scheme for Tier-I Institutions. The Institution is a NAAC Accredited A Grade Technical Institution. The institution has has been ranked 133rd in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2020. It has also been certified to the ISO 9001:2015 quality standards by ANAB. NMAMIT has been included under TEQIP (Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme) Phase-I & Phase-II, a world bank sponsored projects executed through MHRD, New Delhi. The Institution has established a New Age Incubation Centre associated with ICT Skill Development Society (ICTSDS) Department of IT, BT and Science &Technology Government of Karnataka. The Institution has Atal Incubation Centre supported by NITI Aayog, Government of India. The Institution has very active entrepreneurship development cell through which number of training programme are arranged to enhance the entrepreneurship qualities among the students.
The Institute offers undergraduate programmes in nine branches of engineering viz: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Bio-Technology, Civil Engineering, Computer & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Science & Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Institution also offers eight Post Graduate M.Tech programmes. There are Ten VTU recognised research centers offering M.Sc (Engg.) & Ph.D programs. The Institute also offers post-graduation programes in Computer Applications (MCA) and Business Management (MBA).
The Institute is located on the Padubidri-Karkala State Highway which is well connected with Mangalore (60 KM) and Udupi/Manipal (45 KM) through NH66 & NH169. The participants can alight at Mangalore or Udupi Railway Stations/Bus Terminals or Mangalore Airport to reach the Institute.
